MP3 file size

I have inserted an MP3 sound file into a slide show with 72 photos.
From within PP2003 I was able to compress the photos to reduce the PPS
file size.
Now the bulk of the file is the MP3 sound. Can I "compress" the MP3 file
from within PP2003 the same as I did with the photos?
Thanks,
Nathan

No, the MP3 is a compressed file. The only way to reduce it's size is to
degrade it's quality with a sound editor.
