MP10 steals dvd file association

Is there a way to stop MP10 taking the default file association for dvds?
you can uncheck it, but as soon as you close the options and open again the
association is checked again???
 
That checkbox tries to roll back the association. However, if no previous
alternative player is registered, the association cannot change. This is
where you would need to register the other application to be the handler for
DVDs. What other application are you trying to use?

I wrote that code and can hopefully answer any question on it.
