I have front page 2002 and I just got a new computer
running XP professional. What is the best way for me to
get my websites on to the new computer. My old system is
98SE. I know that there are issues publishing to a
Writeable CD and I could not do it. I tried using Import
web wizard after loading front page on the new machine but
it lost the theme and some other things. Would it be
easier to use a usb jump drive or would I have the same
issues. Help, I have several large websites to
move....and I do not want to have to rebuild parts of them
to match what is published on the web. Is their a way I
can down load them from the web without losing things???
Or is their a way I can publish to my hard drive than save
on a disk... Can I import them without using the wizard if
that is what is screwing them up.

The best way is to publish from remote (online host) to local PC
You can use a CD to transfer disc based webs
(just remove the read only attributes after you copy from CD to hard disc)
