Moving to Vista

R

Ruth

I am running XP Pro on my current system, so I have been using Office 2000
and I have the FrontPage 2003 upgrade.

I just purchased a new laptop with Vista Home Premium. Is there a way to get
Frontpage loaded?

Yes, if you have prior version of FP to upgrade from!

What I have is the version of FrontPage 2000 that was part of Office 2000. I
then installed the upgrade version of FP2003. The new Vista machine comes
with Office 2007. I wondering if there is a way to just load FP2000 from the
orginal CD's & the upgrade of FP2003.

You can start installing FP 2003, when it asks for a qualifying version,
take the cd out, put in the FP 2000 cd and follow the prompts.

FP 2000 is part of the Office 2000 CD set. It's not a stand alone CD. Will
that still work?

I believe so.

FP2003 packaging lists the 'qualifying' products on the site of the package.

Doesn't work. It can't find FP 2000 on the cd.

I'll give it a try & see what happens.

Thanks.

Have you check all of the CDs, if yes, then you don't have it.
