I'm trying to move the location of my outlook.pst file to a My Docs folder.
Also trying to transfer the outlook.pst file back and forth between my PC and
laptop. The problem is that after a new installation of outlook 2003, I copy
the laptop outlook.pst file to the pc My Docs folder and delete the
outlook.pst file from the pc default location. When I start Outlook it says
it can't find the .pst file -and shuts down!. There is no option to locate
the file elsewhere.
In addition, I try to get it working back in the default folder, and now I
have miltiple personal folders. Which I can't delete, and give me an "object
can't be found" error msg when I try to get into advanced properties.
I've tried scanpst.exe with no luck.
Any suggestions?.........

In Outlook, go to File-open-Outlook Data file and open the pst file in your
"My Docs" location. Then go to Tools-Email Accounts-Next and change the
default mail delivery location to the new pst file. Then close Outlook and
you should be able to delete the old pst file.
