Moving My Music folder

I'm planning on getting an external hard drive to hold all my music and photo
files. Is there a problem with moving the My Music Folder to an external
drive? Can I just copy the folder to the new drive? I didn't want to try
this without some advice for fear of messing up the My Music folder. Any
advice will be appreciated.

You can move the My Music folder (e.g. by using Tweak UI to repoint the
system towards the new location), but it's not necessary to store your
WMP-monitored files in My Music: they can be stored anywhere (and should
definitely be backed up).
