Moving My Documents for multiple users on one pc.

Cycle

Before moving the location of My Documents to a dedicated drive D:\, for
each of several users on one pc, would creating on D:\ a file path structure
like the following be helpful, safe and sensible?

D:\Mickey\My Documents

D:\Minnie\My Documents

D:\Donald\My Documents etc.

Or would the above lead to disaster because of the use of "My Documents" as
a file name in this context (it being used by XP for some other purpose)? If
so, what sort of path names/file structure is wanted? Many applications
offer My Documents as the default location in which to Save, and I wondered
if it was possible to keep this after changing the location of My Documents,
together with keeping the way My Documents is structured in Windows
Explorer.

The My Documents folder seems to be so entangled with other structures in XP
that I hesitate to change any part of it without asking for comments first.
Articles like MS KB310147 (How to Change the Default Location of the My
Documents Folder) deal with moving for one account, but I can find very
little that deals with safe moving for several accounts on the one computer.

If you have 3 accounts set up on your computer, each points to their "own"
My Documents, within their account. You could certainly boot up in each of
the accounts and then move the My Documents to a separate Drive D: location.
Whenever that particular person is using the computer, under their account,
their files will automatically be saved to their My Documents folder.

If the other users have made their respective folders "private", that user
would NOT be able to access them for viewing or for manipulation.
