Moving i386

Is it safe to move i386 to another disk? If it must be placed under the
system32 folder is it possible to move it to D:, for example, then mount
it in system32?
What about ServicePackFiles?

Nope, Windows XP system files must remain
on the same partition as the operating system.

If you are running short on hard drive space,
its time to give serious consideration toward
purchasing a new hard drive with a larger capacity.
