Hello...

When troubleshooting remote computers, I sometimes want to browse their IE
histories, but don't always have time to do it while I'm in that computer. I'd
like to transfer the histories to my computer where I can peruse them at my
leisure (yippee)

However, copying and pasting the History folder from Docs&Settings to my
computer gives me the dat files, which I can not decypher.

Any suggestions?

Thx,
D.

Hi,
This program sounds like it can help with at least part of that:
IEHistoryView v1.22: http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/iehv.html
I haven't used the program, so I don't know if you can save the remote
history or, if you can, in what format.

Regards,
Don

Thanks. Looks like it'll do the trick. Not familiar with the company though so
I swing it by the kind folks at alt.comp.freeware and see what they have to say.

Thank you. Appreciate it,
D.
