Moving Access2000 to XP

Hi

My access 2000 runs fine on my Windows 2000 PC but we have to upgrade to
windows XP, I have the choice of either office 2000 or 2003. After
installing every component possible I find I cannot run various queries
which use functions such as Left, right etc, as for modules it errors on
almost every command, also I cannot import,export or link file types such as
dbf's or text files. Is there a value pack or something else I need to
install to get the extra functionality? This happens on both access 2000
and 2003 on the windows XP pc.

When the "simple" functions (Date(), Left(), ...) stop working, it's usually
a problem with a reference (Access doesn't know/remember where to find the
library).

First, backup, backup, backup!

Did you compile the application(s) in their original location before copying
to (or updating in) the new one?

Have you used the Compact & Repair function?
