Why would videos and movies not show on a PP projector
during a PP presentation? The files open and can be
viewed on the computer's svreen, but not through the
projector. All movie framework shows on the projected
screen, but not the actual movie/video. All animated
coursors, cartoons, etc show-up, but not the
movies/videos. I can get out of the program, play the
movie/video directly through the projector (in quick-time
only format) and it will show up through the projector,
but not in the normal presentation. What am I doing
wrong? They used to show through the ptrojector, but no
more. Thanking anyone and everyone that can help out.

I have found that when projecting from a laptop, it is
necessary to select the setting for external monitor /
(projector) ONLY, i.e. have the screen on the laptop
blank. I believe that this is due to a bandwidth
limitation on most graphics cards. They can write most
things to a screen and a projector at the same time, but
movies at 25 frames per second are a bit too much, so they
economise by failing to write to the projector. This is
almost certainly the problem you are having.
