Movies from PC to tape

When I select the save to tape function all seems to go
well and the Camera (Sony DCR-TRV22E) shows DV-IN on the
LCD. Then the camera begins recording. However when the
progress bar reaches 100% nothing happens and the camera
keeps going. If I stop it and rewind there are no
pictures and no sound. I'm using fire wire and there's
obviously some signal getting through to start the
camera.

Can anyone help?
