movies edited on moviemaker 2 not playing on other computers

After saving the edited movies in moviemaker 2...I imported them to Powerpoint. These movies played well...but on other computers without moviemaker 2 ...none of the movies work. Does this mean only movies edited on moviemaker 2 play on computers with moviemaker 2?

Movies made with MM2 should play on any computer that runs version 7 or
higher of the Windows Media Player, and is connected to the internet at the
time of playing in order to get any needed codec.
