burning and playing back home movies

i use moviemaker 2 to edit my movies after saving i then transfer it to a programme calledpowerdvd by cyberlink. after wriying to dvd i play it back on my DVD player and it freezes intermitently
 
Does the DVD you created play okay on your PC?
