Windows XP Moviemaker pictures

I am using Moviemaker 2.
For an existing movie file, if I add a picture, it gets added at the end. In order to move it near the front of the timeline, I have to drag it, which can be very slow depending on the size of the timeline.
Is there a way to either add a pict. at or near the beginning, or quickly move it from the end?

you can zoom out on the timeline to make it easier dragging the pictures to the front or add the pictures before you put the videos in
