Movie won't display using InFocus Projector

I created a movie with Movie Maker 2 and saved the movie to my hard disk. If I play the movie with Windows Media Player it is just fine on the display. However, if I connect an InFocus Projector to the video out port on the computer and try play the movie the following happens
1) The windows desktop projects just fin
2) The Movie Maker application displays just fine, however..
the video shows on the computer but not on the projector. THe projected image just shows a blank/black picture wher
the movie should b

Computer: Compaq Armada M30
Windows XP Professiona

Projector: InFocus Model 34

Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong & how to fix it?

I have had this problem before. Go to your diaplay
properties and find the dual monitor settings and set the
external monitor to be the master and your computer as
being the slave. This should display your video on the
external monitor but not on your PC. You can also set the
monitors as being one big screen and draq media player
onto the second screen.

I think the problem is something to do with the way
XP/Media player overlays the video onto the screen.

Sorry i cant be more specific but the solution differs
from PC to PC and its not something ive played with in a
while.
