movie maker2

Im running movie maker right now but i want to upgrade to
mm2. Every time i try to down load it i cant, the program
says it loads but i cant open it. Please help.

Hi Rich --

Are you having problems installing MM2 from Windows Update?

You could try the following:
1. Instead of using Windows Update, try grabbing a copy of the
self-extracting executable from :

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...84-6f21-43e2-b4e2-051f72c11a77&DisplayLang=en

2. Run this install package, when you are done, should have the
following files in your "\program file\movie maker\" directory:
moviemk.exe, wmm2ae.dll, wmm2ext.dll, wmm2filt.dll, wmm2fxa.dll,
wmm2fxb.dll
You should also have the following directories which contain support files:
"MUI" , "SHARED"

3. Launch Movie Maker and have fun!
