Movie Maker version 6.0 Service Pack 1 on Windows Vista

I have been editing alot of movie clips to put together in one movie. The
length has gotten to be about 60 mins. I have been able to add audio also.
I am now down to the last bit of editing and ready to publish but the program
keeps shutting down on me when I edit one clip. It is also taking about 15
minutes to recheck project so I can keep editing. It has been freezing up
and not responding since clip about 100 on a regular basis but now it is just
ridiculous. I have a new Sony Vaio with tons of memory, etc. so I know it is
not because my computer can not handle the number of clips. The program also
has space for up to 2 hrs of movie time so it can not be that I have made
this too long. Can someone help me stop this annoying shut down so I can
just finish my project?

I think you are exceeding the resources of your
system. Best bet IMHO would be to create 2 or
more smaller projects and save them in a movie
format...then reimport them to be combined into
a final movie.
