Movie Maker Update

My Dell system came with Movie Maker 1.1. I see no uninstall. Does it need to be uninstalled before install version 2.0? If so, what is the procedure to uninstall version 1.1?

Greg,

No need to uninstall. But I suggest you keep a copy of the MM1 main
executable... just copy it to a new name, leaving it in the folder it's in
now. I use MM1 and MM2 for different purposes. See the Setup... Software

i have not been able to get movie maker 2 to install. i tried some of the help suggested by microsoft nothing seems to work. it suggested going to Windows\registered patches, copying files into movie maker, then installing mm20ex.inf. I can't even find that file. so far, i am disgusted with mm2. any ideas on what i can do to get it installed?
