Movie Maker Startup Problem

Still no luck with this program. Was running OK in XP, but
now starts up (appears in full screen briefly) and the
just closes again. I've now removed the ONLY programme
that may have created this problem (USB TV Tuner,
unfortunately to far down the road for 'Restore' to be of
any use. I've tried 'Papajohns' codec renaming utility and
done a reinstall of winXP withot loosing any existing
data. Still MM2 is misbehaving. Anyone have any ideas?

It's at times like this we all wish we had a ghost image of our drive, saved
somewhere handy for easy back up.... still non of us is perfect.
I may suggest a complete format re-install of XP as it sounds like you may
well have something left over still from the tv tuner.
