Movie Maker Problems!

After I capture video clips with my WEB-CAM & place them
on a timeline, when I go to add a trasition scene from
one clip to another the program quits out on me! Why? I
lose all I was working on and have to load the clips back
to the timeline. Also when I want to add a title or any
effect it does the same. Does anybody else have this
problem? How can I correct it?

What web cam brand do you use ? Can you play the file from the collection ?
Can you play the file using the Media Player ?
