Movie Maker is missing

Windows Movie Maker is missing from my Windows XP Pro with SP2
installed. I reinstalled SP2 but still Movie Maker does not show up in
the program folder. How can I get the Movie Maker?

Thanks for your response.
I have been there and it says that Movie Maker can come with SP2. It
does not appears than Movie Maker alone is not available for download.
Am I wrong?

Perform the following:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and select: NEW > SHORTCUT
2. In the Create Shortcut window, type in:
"C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe" , and click "Next"
3. In the next window, type in: Windows Movie Maker , and click "Finish"
4. A Windows Movie Maker shortcut icon will appear on your Desktop.

Thank you very much for your response. My problem has been solved by
following your suggestion. I thought the short cut would be
automatically created when SP2 was reinstalled and did not look in the
Program Folders.

I had the same problem which was resolved below

create a shortcut by right clicking on your desktop and pasting this in the
shortcut
THE PROBLEM APPREARS TO BE A MISSING LINK TO THE PROGRAM NOT THAT THE
PROGRAM IS NOT INSTALLED.

C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe

Bingo! I was getting frustrated and starting to think I would never get it
-- finally! Thank you, thank you, thank you! And I hope Microsoft took note
of this and is resolving the problem in future Service Pack 2 updates, for
those who are new to this program.
