Movie Maker exits when capturing stills from video

Try turning your hardware acceleration down to the 3rd notch before taking
the snapshot.

It worked for one, but now the same thing again.

See the Problem Solving > Checklist at my website.... maybe an update of
your DirectX software would do it.... make sure you have a restore point set
before doing any upgrade.
