Movie Maker Error When Creating a Movie

I have been receiving the following error when making a movie. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix the problem

"Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

"If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost.

"For more information about this error, click here...

AppName: moviemk.exe AppVer: 2.0.3312.0 ModName: iviaudio.a
ModVer: 4.0.11.95 Offset: 0000c9bd
 
Hi Rob,

Check the Problem Solving > Acceleration and Codecs page of my website.

You'll find iviaudio.ax in the list of problem codecs.

Hi there,

This is a classic problem. Its so common I created a program that has fixed
this issue for a large number of people. It is called Rename Codecs and is
available from my website together with various tutorials on how to use the
program (It is VERY easy)
