movie maker doesnt want to import

My movie maker doesnt want to import a movie file it tells me that it is not
indexed and cannot be imported please help me find a way to import this file

Check the Importing Source Files > Video > WMV page of my site... there's a
section in it about indexing WMV files.

Hello,

The issue can be resolved by the use of free software from Microsoft
called...erm...senior moment...Windows Media Encoder....and it is very easy
to correct...simply open your file and immediately close the program...the
indexing is done automatically
