Movie Maker Crashes While Encoding

When I try to publish to a DVD in Movie Maker, it begins by closing Movie
Maker and opening DVD Maker, the encoding process begins and gets to about
3-10% and then stops working, basically shuts down the windows and back to
Movier Maker. I just installed Vista on a new hard drive and cant seem to
figure out what is happening. I'm running an Athlon 3200 w/1 GB RAM. I'm
new to Vista so make sure you provide the lamens terms =/ Thanks!!!
