movie maker can't even install....

Greetings,

moviemaker works great on my other machine. However, my
new dell 3.2 HT it would always hang on a small file.
That is any file. Also when it would work and tried to
save movie it said some nonsense about not being able to
save. The source files remained untouched and I have
80Gig of free space. Any ideas?

It seemed like a corrupted file. So I tried to uninstall
it and redo. No luck. So I removed Programs
Files/moviemaker folder. It kept reappearing ...
couldn't delete it. So I went into reg edit and deleted
all references to moviemaker and reinstalled now it says
it installed however the moviemaker folder is empty thus
it is not installed I can't install it. Any ideas on how
to fix this? Also does anyone know how to file a bug for
this software?

The Problem Solving section of www.papajohn.org will help, but it might be
better to do a system restore and go back to when you had MM2 running, but
with some issues.
