Movie Maker and File Formats

I am trying to edit a video clip that is in .mpg format.
Can I edit it in Windows Movie Maker and save it as
a .mpg file. I seem to only be able to save it as a
Windows movie Maker file (.wmv.

The Other file saving option is to a DV-AVI file. You need other software to

try VideoEdit Converter, it can convert a number of video format!
