Movie Maker 2

I have tried every possible way to download this free
windows program without success. I have already installed
SP2 but there was no sign of Movie maker 2. All avenues
seem to lead to the update website which tells you what a
wonderful program it is without providing a download link.
Can anyone help please??

When you install SP2, it also installs Movie Maker 2.1.
Go to Start > Programs > Windows Movie Maker.

You can also open Windows Movie Maker by:
Start > Run and type: moviemk.exe , and hit enter.

You didn't look in the right place. A search for Movie Maker 2 using
the MS search engine takes you right to it:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx

By the way, the current version is 2.1. And yes, it's a very good
program. I have a copy of Pinnacle Studio, and actually find Movie
Maker 2 easier to use. Be sure to also download the free add on
packs. Some of them are not free and must be activated, in other
words, purchased. Be sure you read the fine print first. Have fun.
