Movie Maker 2 Hangs Up

Does anyone know what causes microsoft movie maker 2 to
hang up? Using Windows XP Pro 512 mb RAM, 2.24 gigs
Pentium 4, 120 gig hard drive. High end 128mb xtasy G
Force 4 video card nvidia chipset.
