movie/dv camera problem

I have a dv camera approx 2 yrs old & have connections, I
have w/xp & I dont have hardware for my dv
camera "panasonic" that will let me make movies from my
xp movie maker!
I was advised of "pyro" if that is a program?
can anyone advise on my prob.

Pyro is a model name of an IEEE 1394 controller made by ADS. Do you have an
IEEE 1394 controller? You can use one of those to plug in your Panasonic to
the PC.
