Movie Cataloguer

Hi,

I know there are a number of movie cataloguer's around, but I can't
find one with a particular feature I am looking for. I am looking for
one specifically for downloaded movie files, one that allows you to
click on a movie and it will open up in your movie player.
MovieCollection (from the maker of Spybot - Search and Destroy
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/) comes closest to what I need. I
like its simplicity, and the fields are pretty much what I need
(filename, movie name, codec, size, resolution, type and location),
but it is missing the 'click on a movie to open it' feature that I
want. Can anyone suggest a program that may have what I am after?

Hi Mel,

Thanks for that one, but it is one of the one's I've already tried.
I've also tried all the pricelessware recommended one's including Ant,
and quite a number of pages of google search results. However, none of
them are what I am after. All I want from the cataloger is to be able
to browse for a video file on my hard drive, have the program auto
load the codec/resolution etc, and then be able to double click on the
link to play it. Programs like MovieTrack and Ant would be great if
you were a serious movie collector, who's collection was offline (on
DVD/VHS etc), and who cared about plotlines, stars, directors etc that
IMDB provides, but my needs are much simpler. If only MovieCollection
provided double clicking to play and auto loading of resolution, it
would be perfect. I'd even settle for a generic collection database
that wasn't specifically for movies, but still had the required
functionality.
