Moved HDs, now shows "Dynamic Disk Unreadable"

John S

I was at a friend's house transferring files to his drive.
I had to remove some of my drives, to free up a IDE port.
After that was over, I put the drives back in, I get unreadable.
The drive that is not working was setup as a dynamic disk, that looks
like that was a mistake on my part.

Now, I would like to get the data from the drive, anyone have an idea
to get the data back? It is a single NTFS partition.

Disk manager shows the properties as a 128 GB drive, it is a 160 GB
drive.

Thanks
John

I have fixed the problem.
Microsoft has an article 305098, adding a registry key for 48 LBA
support. I made the entry, the drive was assigned the original letter.
All data was accessible on the drive.
