move quick launch

BOB

Hi can someone tell me how to move the quick launch bar to the center of
the taskbar the right way.
I have done it some how by sliding one icon to the left and sliding it
back to the right fast so it jumps over the little dashed line but it is
by acident when it works.
There must be a right way to do this ...
XPpro.
Thank you for any help

Toolbars may NOT be in the center of the Taskbar, unless there is
something between them and the Start button. In other word, the Quick
launch Toolbar can't "float", it will be "against" something on the left
or right end of the taskbar.

I disagree with Bob I. I now have my quick launch toolbar in the center of
the taskbar. What I did was open up the web browser and minimized it. Then
grab the side of the quick launch bar (the part you can move) and drag it
past the minimized browser in the taskbar. Not sure why this works though...

I moved mine to the middle too.

I don't like it, but I moved it. Now I will move it back.

Are you aware that the Quick Launch Bar can be completely dragged off
the taskbar and kept on any of the other three sides of the screen?
Particularly in these days of wide screen monitors, you might want to
consider putting it on the left or right side of the screen.

Another alternative to consider is dragging the Task Bar to the left
side of the screen and the Quick Launch Bar to the right side of the
screen. On a wide screen, I think this makes better use of the screen
real estate than keeping them on the bottom.

That's because you didn't comprehend what you read. Try again.
