Move from Mixed to Native Mode

Finally we're going to move from mixed to native mode. Is
there any consideration we have to know before doing it?

You should consider that the move to Native mode prevents replication
between the Win 2k DC and NT 4.0 BDCs.

If this is a Win 2k domain the ONLY way to rename the domain without
upgrading to Win 2k3 requires you to add a NT 4.0 BDC to the domain.
Make sure you don't have to rename the domain and there are no NT 4.0 BDCs
on the domain and you should be OK.

It does allow you to have Universal Security Groups and Group Nesting ( all
good things.... er, possibly ).

But that is about it! As Danny said, it is pretty much one thing: will
WINNT 4.0 BDCs continue to function as BDCs ( Mixed ) or not ( Native ).
