Move a local policy

Hi

I have 4 computers running Windows XP in a workgroup. I want to be able to
make changes to the local policies on one computer and the move it to the
others. How do I do that?

Is it just to copy Registry.pol from %Systemroot%\System32\GroupPolicy\User
to the same folder on the other computers, and will the policies affect the
administrator as well?

For "security" settings found in Local Security Policy you can create a
security template to import into each computer. For Group Policy "user"
configuration settings then yes copying the Registry.pol may work and it
will apply to all users on the computer that have read access to that
folder. The free Shared Computer Toolkit makes it easy to apply many Group
Policy like settings to one or more users without affecting all users. See
the link below if interested. --- Steve
