Mouse would not move

I just brough this laptop and it acting wierd. every 2 week the touch mouse
pad would not work and i would need to restore system. how can i prevent
doing this over and over again every 2 week. From the point of start up the
mouse pad would not work in any way. It would not move in any direction nor
does the right and left click work.
 
If it's still in warranty, contact the maker.

Do you have the current drivers, as provided by the maker, not MS?
