Mouse pointer is invisible after computer enters hibernation

Any way to keep the mouse pointer from disappearing when the computer goes
into hibernation?
When I wake up the computer I have the message as follow.
"The device driver for the 'easy internet keyboard' is preventing from
entering standby. Please close all applications and try again. If the problem
persists you may need to update the driver."
The pointer is working (screen responds when hovered around) but pointer
becomes invisible. The only way to have the pointer return is by restarting
the machine. I have updated the keyboard driver to version 2.21.0.0 but no
change. The logitech easy internet keyboard is plugged into the keyboard port.
Any direction would be appreciated.
