Mouse over picture detection

Hi, I wonder if it is possible to detect when the mouse is directly over
a picture. The reason for this is so that I could then expand the size
of a picture only when the mouse is over the picture. I'm not quite
sure how word treats a graphic so any help on the matter would be much
appreciated.
 
You can always tell, if the resize mouse icon appears, that means the mouse
is in contact with image.
