Mouse Options?

Hi

I recently ordered a new computer from Dell and they supplied a mouse.

This mouse has two flimsy buttons on the left side of the mouse which act as
'back' and 'forward' buttons when browsing in Internet Explorer. As I am
left-handed, I am constantly knocking these buttons with my finger and this
is causing much annoyance!!

Is there a way to disable these button using Windows?? There wasn't any
specific software that came with the mouse.
