Mouse (Mice) / USB Drivers / Freezing / XP Pro / LockUps / HELP!

I have Labtec Mouxe - been getting Lockups/freezes... when doing things...
person in Help Chat suggested that I check mouse drives -downloaded that
latest for the mouse, installed, looked in the Mouse Properties, MS Drivers
still running the Mouse - they also thought there might be USB conflict...
<sigh> Okay, How can I:

Find out what is the doing this? (we'll go from there) Oh, yeah, they system
freezes/hangs when the mouse does this - _sometime_ if I want a sec, or so,
the mouse will move again -but if not then I have to reboot to regain control
to be able to do anything... I have also noticed that I can get back to some
programs there are there; but, 'not responding' ... <sigh> sometime using
task manger and Switching to them works... sometimes not... then it's ReBoot
Time... Suggestions?

I am having similar problems- using a Microsoft USB mouse. Sometimes the
mouse cursor just stops moving. This usually happens when I lift the mouse
off the pad to re-center it. A reboot is my only option. Please help.

Ted, I went to the manufacturer (turns out they had new drivers) and updated
the Drivers and left a note about my problem there - Responded with a
Diagonist (text) to do to Help track down what is causing the problem - You
might want to try that too - I have to go back to print the Text-2-Do ---
will let everyone know the out come of this (hoping for a cure) -Tom
