mouse locks when switching users

Hello again.
New situation. Customer has a one year old Dell. Over a gig of RAM, 3.4 ghz
processor,, ect. We recently set up two accounts on it. Hers is the admin,
and the employee is limited. Running Windows XP Pro, SP2. Everything works
fine, EXCEPT the mouse when they go to Switch users. At that point the mouse
locks up. If they Log off, then log into the new user, it is fine. The
problem only seems to occur when using the switch user function.
The mouse is part of the Wacom tablet set, model Intuos2.
What I have done so far is check all Windows updates and corrected those
that did not install properly. I downloaded and installed the newest driver
from Wacom. I have also run the SFC command to see if some Windows files were
corrupt. Overall, the computer runs great and no other problems seem to be
present, so I am left scratching my head.
Any ideas???

Stack a normal mouse in and see what happens.

Also, Fast User Switching is "finicky" and doesn't play well with others. I
generally disable it rather than trying to live with the hassles that it
causes.
