Mouse is preventing standby-mode...

Hi,

When my laptop is running on batteries and I try to enter standby I get this
error message:

"The device driver for the 'HID-compliant Cordless Mouse' device is
preventing the machine from entering standby. Please close all applications
and try again. If the problem persists, you may need to update this driver"

When on batteries everything is great...

It is a Logitech Optical Cordless for Notebooks (USB) and I use the latest
driver (v. 9.79.1) - I have tried 9.73 though, but it makes no difference...

I am running Windows XP Pro UK.

What do I do??

5) Click on the "Device Manager" button.
6) From the Device Manager, double click the "Mouse" icon.
7) Double click on the 'HID-Compliant ...' mouse icon.
8) From the Mouse 'Properties' dialog box, click on the "Power Management" tab.
9) Clear the check box "Allow this device to bring the computer out from standby"
