Mouse is not found

I have installed 2000 Pro on a clean reformatted machine
and there is not mouse installed or found.

I have put a new form card in thinking this may be the
problem but to no avail it didn't work yet.

So with a new port card and it still wont work, I don't
know what else to do.

Can someone tell me what to do and how to fix??

Maybe the mouse is broken.
