Mouse freezes after restart

Carlo Hagemann

Hi XPerts,

My problem is that after a restart of my computer (like
when you just installed some new application), the mouse
freezes after the 'required restart, in the 'welcome screen'.
There is no notification of an error whatsoever

the only thing that helps is another restart (I am lucky to
have such a button on my pc).

O yes, my mouse is a logitech wireless mouse.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Carlo

ps: I posed this question some time ago on this newsgroup
or another, but I cannot find it anymore :)(

Suggest you contact Logitech for technical support on
your mouse. You can contact them at the below website,
use "copy & Paste" the URL to your browser, or call their

Not that this helps but I have the same problem I
believe,,Logitech cordless mouseman optical using the 975
driver as there newer drivers cause even more problems
Mine does it after being away from the computer for
awhile..Could be a day or even an hr and does not happen
consistantly,,Varies from once a week to a couple of times
a day..Logitech was absolutely no help whatsoever
I am still researching to find the cure as I have
uninstalled and reinstalled several times various ways and
that has not worked...If you get the cure PLEASE post, as
will I.....Best to all.........Drew
