I am having problems installing a Packard Bell 5 button
wireless mouse, (non USB connector). I have loaded the
driver which came with the device, but the mouse is not
recognised. The only mouse shown is the generic type whose
drivers come with my O.S., which is Windows XP Pro.
It has been suggested that I uninstall these generic
drivers as XP may then recognise the new mouse, but I am
reluctant to do this in case I end up with a PC which is
un-useable without a mouse!
Has anyone any suggestions please?

This is a question for Packard Bell tech support.
