Mouse disappearing

I am using vista and every so often my mouse pointer disappears from the
centre of the screen but you can still see it around the edges of the screen,
I have tried a couple of different mouses but still does the same, any ideals

I don't know what kind of mouse you have, but that guide may provide some
insight in how to go about resolving the problem you have.

I have the same problem. I can get around it by plugging in mains power or if
I booted up on mains power unplug & plug back in on the rear of the laptop.
Same thing happens on next bootup though.
