If anyone can help, I'd be very greatful. For some unknown reason, when I
click in the sroll bar to page down, I get a double page down as if I
clicked twice. It seems to be more pronounced in IE. Clicking hyperlinks
and buttons seem to act normal. I don't have my touchpad configured for a
double click (not even an option in the control pane). This is really
annoying. Not all applications react this way. Any suggestions
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can go to the control panel then to printers and
other hardware. from there click on the mouse catagory
and you can customize your mouse from there.

I don't believe it is a mouse configuration. The touch pad (Synoptic)
doesn't allow the left button to function as a double click. I feel it
has something to do with IE6 possibly since I see the same problem on
another computer that has XP Pro (I'm using XP Hoome on my Dell Laptop).
This just started happening two weeks ago. Thanks for the the
suggestion. It doesn't seem to help.
