Motorola Q and Vista

My boss recently upgraded his system to Windows Vista Business. However, the
computer does not recognize his Motorola Q. Vista does not have any drivers
for it and can not find any of the windows update. I've tried to install the
WMDC final that was recently released and i keep gettin a prompt that says
that a component is missing. I'm also using MS Office 2007. I've tried to
install WMDC from both the download of the site and through windows update,
but it doesn't go through. Any Suggestions?

Uh... How about something helpful???? I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate
and just purchased the Motorola Q for Sprint and I'm having the same problem.
When I try to partner using the Motorla Q, I get the following error:

Bluetooth ActiveSync
Service not Found

The service you are requesting is not supported on the device. Please make
sure the device is ready and the service is enabled.

Seems to me that Windows Vista would have built in support for the Q since
it's been out for over 6 months now, but I guess that's just too much to ask.
I've tried installing the updated version of Windows Mobile Device Center
and the updated device drivers, but neither has helped. I've also been able
to successfully partner my Q once using the USB port, but any time after
that, Windows Vista doesn't recognize the Q for some odd reason. I've also
been able to use DUN with Vista and the Q, and I can send files via bluetooth
to the Q from Vista so you'd think this would be an easy fix. Somebody
please help...

Thanks,
Ron

I would if I could but I can't help on stuff like bluetooth. I'm sure
others can.
