motherboard suggestions

I have some pieces of an old, heavily upgraded computer I
want to work into a new machine. Any suggestions for a
basic motherboard which is easy to install and with lots
of good hardware support?

Best advice would be to check out some of the better review and comparison
sites to size up what's available, what you need and what you want to spend.

My personal choice would be to look through Tom's Hardware Guide before
buying.
